VERSE is built as a marketplace; Yodeck is built as a CMS. That single decision shapes everything else on the page.
Yodeck sells signage software to venues. The price climbs with the number of screens you own. There is one free seat; every screen after that lives on a monthly tier. The product is mature and respected, the model is straightforward.
VERSE sells advertiser impressions to brands and agencies, and uses that demand to fund free signage for venues. Pair as many displays as you like, run any signage you want, and either keep it fully self-served or opt in to brand-safe ad fill and take up to 50% of the ad revenue back as a next withdrawal.
Neither model is wrong. They’re different answers to a different question: do you want to pay for signage, or do you want signage that pays you?
